Nerdblock Classic: October 2015

If you’re already receiving Nerdblock Classic and you don’t want to be spoiled on what’s in this month’s box, I suggest you stop reading now! Otherwise, read below to check out what a subscription to NerdBlock can get you!

What exactly is NerdBlock you ask? It’s a self-described Comic-Con in a box. Each monthly box is guaranteed to contain a pop-culture t-shirt (exclusively from ShirtPunch), exclusive merchandise, and 4-6 collectibles you never knew you wanted. Currently I receive the NerdBlock Classic, but there are a variety of themed boxes starting from $13.99 (+ s&h) per month. These include: Nerd Block Jr. (separate boxes for both boys & girls), Comic Block, Arcade Block, Horror Block (look out for another post later this month featuring this month’s Horror Block!), and the all new Sci-Fi Block - which I’m considering switching to. I’m not going to lie, if you live outside Canada, the shipping is a little steep, but it’s definitely worth it for all these goodies.

NerdBlock also offers a FREE Welcome Block (a $20 value!) for new subscribers! This Block includes everything a regular block does so it’s a great way to jump start your collection.

Now onto the contents of this month’s Classic! The theme this month was (obviously) Trick or Treat. (note: the end of the post includes a promo code to save you money on your first subscription!)

Included in this month’s box was an exclusive ALIEN twin pack. Not all boxes include figurines, but when they do they’re usually either Titan or Funko Pops!

This month’s t-shirt (by far my favorite item this month) was Gremlins! This particular shirt glows in the dark!!

The rest of the contents of this box: An EXCLUSIVE Jem and the Holograms Outrageous Annual #1 comic, EXCLUSIVE Moe Coaster (this one is made out of cork + plastic, which is different than the other coasters we’ve received), Zombie Hunter dog tags, & Bob’s Burgers Mad Libs.

Also in next month’s Sci-Fi Block and Comic Block is a surprise from the Back to the Future trilogy! The Sci-Fi block will contain an EXCLUSIVE signed item from a member of the cast, and the Comic Block will contain a variant cover for Back to the Future.
